Iran- Election days
2009 was a very important year for the Iranian Islamic Republic. The year of the 30th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution was also the year of the presidential elections.
(Many) Iranians, wishing a change of policy, decided to vote the riformist candidate Mir-Hossein Moussawi, considered much more moderate. But
dreams made during the days before the vote were broken by the re-election of Mahmoud Ahmadineijad. after elections that many people, in Iran and all over the world, considered fake. All the entusiasm and the hopes turned into the biggest protest ever held in the last 30 years.
