Pietro Masturzo was born in 1980 in Naples.
After he got his masters degree in International Relationship in Naples, he moved to Rome to study Photography. He has been working as professional photographer since 2007 collaborating with different photojournalistic agencies and publishing his pictures on the most important Italian newspapers. In the last years he has been working on a long term project about unsolved territorial questions in Caucasus Region. In 2009, together  with 4 young photographers from Naples, he founded Kairos Factory, an indipendent collective of documentary photography, today his only liaison.
